Woodcreek's loss ends seven-game winning streak at home

Recap: Woodcreek Timberwolves vs. Inderkum Tigers

It was a good run, but the Woodcreek Timberwolves unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 62-53 to Inderkum. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Woodcreek in their matchups with Inderkum: they've now lost six in a row.

Several Timberwolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Hennessey, who scored 18 points along with two steals. Hennessey is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Max VanLaningham, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and six blocks.

Leading Inderkum to victory were Jeremiah Butler and Malachi Johnson. Butler scored 15 points, while Johnson scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. Malik Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Woodcreek's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-6. As for Inderkum, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Woodcreek will head out on the road to face off against Bella Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodcreek is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 64.9 points per game this season. As for Inderkum, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Yuba City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Inderkum is coming into the match with 17 straight victories at home, so Yuba City is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
