Volleyball Recap: Cranberry Area Comes Up Short

Cranberry Area lost against Allegheny-Clarion Valley two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Berries lost 3-0 to the Falcons. The Berries have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Cranberry Area was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-18.

Cranberry Area's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Allegheny-Clarion Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Cranberry Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Allegheny-Clarion Valley, they will face off against Elk County Catholic at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
