Recap: Orestimba Warriors vs. Le Grand Bulldogs
Make it nine blowout wins for the Orestimba Warriors this season. They put the hurt on Le Grand with a sharp 70-49 win on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for Orestimba as they're now sitting on 13 straight.
Orestimba's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Marin dominguez, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Blake Melo was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Orestimba's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Le Grand, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, Orestimba and Le Grand will both be playing Gustine the next time they take the court. Orestimba will host Gustine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Le Grand will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
