Baseball Recap: Eads' Undefeated Season over After 20 Games

Eads and Merino squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Eads had to settle for second. They lost 12-3 to the Rams. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this match were averaging 1.55 runs allowed.

Karsten Buller made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Having lost for the first time this season, Eads fell to 19-1. As for Merino, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-6.

Eads does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Merino, they will head out to square off against Flatirons Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bison will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
