Softball Recap: Buffalo Grove Comes Up Short

Buffalo Grove couldn't beat Grayslake Central on Saturday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Bison came up short against the Rams, falling 18-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bison have suffered against the Rams since April 5, 2016.

Buffalo Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Grayslake Central, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-13.

Looking ahead, Buffalo Grove will venture away from home to face off against Elk Grove at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Grayslake Central, they will welcome Wauconda at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.19 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of.
