It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fort Wayne Bishop Luers can now relate to. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 29-14 to the Cascade Cadets. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' loss came despite strong showings from Terrance Epperson and Brandon Gaither Ii. Epperson rushed for 94 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Gaither Ii gained 172 total yards. Epperson also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Knights are 5-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 4-5 otherwise.

Cascade's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dayton Mink led the charge by rushing for 108 yards and two scores. Mink also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making one tackle. Another player making a difference was Lucas Farmer, who gained 140 total yards.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Cascade, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
