Alanis and Beacon Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Morgan Park Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2026. The Trailblazers will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 435 places lower in Illinois), but they're not letting that get them down.
