Thornton Fractional North had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

While Thornton Fractional North won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22.

Coming up, Thornton Fractional North will challenge Chicago Washington at 6:00 p.m. on April 3. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Joliet West on the 26th.
