Basketball Game Preview: Colony Knights vs. Grace Christian Grizzlies

The Colony Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Grace Christian Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Colony is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Colony is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Palmer, who was ranked eighth at the time (Colony was ranked 12th). Colony narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Palmer 43-40.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Grace Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Palmer by a score of 57-49 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Moose: they've now won three in a row.

Grace Christian pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.4 points over those games. As for Colony, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Colony came up short against Grace Christian in their previous meeting back in January, falling 64-60. Can Colony avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
