Volleyball Recap: Timpanogos Takes a Loss

After flying high against Summit Academy last Thursday, Timpanogos came back down to earth. The Timberwolves came up short against the Orem Tigers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Timberwolves haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Timpanogos took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-10, 25-14.

Brecken Jorgenson paced Timpanogos' offense, picking up eight kills. Jorgenson got some help from Shelby Hartman and her seven assists.

Timpanogos' loss dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Orem, their win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-3.

Timpanogos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orem, they will be playing at home against Herriman at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
