Basketball Game Preview: Ayala Bulldogs vs. Price Knights

The Ayala Bulldogs will take on the Price Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ayala knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Price likes a good challenge.

Ayala is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 61-50 win over Gahr.

Meanwhile, Price won against Shalhevet last Tuesday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Price took down Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica 55-40. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won five matches in a row.

Price pushed their record up to 22-6 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.1 points over those games. As for Ayala, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.
