Collegiate's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Christchurch School with a sharp 4-0 victory. Collegiate might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Christchurch School with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ryan Lewis (2), Gabriela Linkonis, and Anna Siebert.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Catherine's, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Saint Gertrude 2-1. The win was all the more spectacular given St. Catherine's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Saint Gertrude are ranked 31st).

Collegiate's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-0-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those five games. As for St. Catherine's, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8-3.
