Recap: Williams Yellowjackets vs. Willows Honkers
The Williams Yellowjackets lost against the Willows Honkers back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Williams fell 29-20 to Willows.
Williams' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Kyden Bowen, who threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns. Jose martinez was in the mix as well, providing Williams with two touchdowns.
Jonny Esparza went supernova for Willows, rushing for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
Williams' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Willows, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-6.
Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Willows is also done with their season.
