Baseball Recap: Hawaii Prep Takes a Loss

If Hawaii Prep was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Kohala last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawaii Prep Ka Makani lost 7-0 to the Pahoa Daggers on Friday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Ka Makani were not able to get on the board.

Hawaii Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nishiki Iwai, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. Iwai is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
