First Preparatory Christian Academy won the last time they faced Bethesda Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Highlanders came out on top against the Blazers by a score of 60-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Highlanders.

Bethesda Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Turner, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 10 points along with five boards and three steals. Turner is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last five games he's played. Jadon Turner was another key player, going 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points.

First Preparatory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Bethesda Academy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. First Preparatory Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Savannah Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2026.
