Basketball Game Preview: Murray County Indians vs. North Cobb Christian Eagles

The Murray County Indians will venture away from home to face off against the North Cobb Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Murray County has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while North Cobb Christian will arrive with four straight wins.

On Tuesday, Murray County ended up a good deal behind Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe and lost 76-59.

Meanwhile, North Cobb Christian didn't have too much trouble with Coahulla Creek on Tuesday as they won 92-73. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Colts are ranked 149th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Cobb Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 87.0 points per game. As for Murray County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
