Football Recap: McCutcheon Mavericks vs. Kokomo Wildkats
McCutcheon was the 10-6 winner over Kokomo when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Brixton Morris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kokomo, rushing for 141 yards and a touchdown. Morris' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 115 rushing yards dating back to last season.
McCutcheon's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Kokomo, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.
McCutcheon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-14 defeat against Lafayette Jefferson on the 18th. Kokomo has also already played their next match, a 29-28 loss against Harrison on the 18th.
