If East wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bayard Rustin, they should've done a better job of containing Will Garner. The Golden Knights breezed past the Vikings to the tune of 38-0 on Friday thanks in part to Garner, who rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 104.6 rushing yards per game.

Despite the defeat, East saw an underclassman step up: freshman Cooper Verbos rushed for 100 yards on only six carries. Verbos really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.

Bayard Rustin is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points on average over those games. As for East, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-3.

Coming up, Bayard Rustin will be playing in front of their home fans against Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East, they will take on Great Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
