Basketball Recap: B O L D Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact B O L D can now relate to. They fell just short of the Henning Hornets by a score of 61-59 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (57), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, B O L D still got an impressive performance from Jack Gross, who went 10-for-19 en route to 31 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Those 31 points gave Gross a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Vosika, who posted six points and eight assists.

Gross wasn't the only one working in the assist department: B O L D was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. This was only their ninth loss (out of 28 games) when they've passed the ball that well.

This is the second loss in a row for B O L D and nudges their season record down to 20-12. As for Henning, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-4 record this season.

As of now, neither B O L D nor Henning have any future games scheduled.
