Basketball Game Preview: Timnath Cubs vs. Stargate School Eagles + How To Watch

The Timnath Cubs will take on the Stargate School Eagles in a tournament on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Stargate School will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Timnath extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Cubs really took it to Mountain View for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-23 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-10.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stargate School). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Aurora West College Prep Academy 73-17. The Eagles have beaten the Spartans the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Spartans has come to flipping the script.

Timnath's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Stargate School, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
