Football Recap: Granite Hills Takes a Loss

Granite Hills's last matchup with Victor Valley could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Cougars lost 42-21 to the Jackrabbits.

It was another big night for Robert Middlebrooks, who threw for 176 yards and three TDs on perfect 12-for-12 passing for Victor Valley.

Granite Hills has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Victor Valley, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Granite Hills will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Barstow at 7:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Victor Valley, they will head out to take on Adelanto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
