Lafayette Central Catholic can bid farewell to their 15-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Faith Christian Eagles. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 7-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kendyl McCammon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Auna Silver was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Corinne Zehring, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Lafayette Central Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 2-18. As for Faith Christian, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
