 The Gainesville Cardinals will head out on the road to  square off against  the Osbourn Eagles at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Gainesville will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
 Gainesville will bounce into Friday's   game after  beating Battlefield, who they hadn't topped in five consecutive meetings. Gainesville came out on top against Battlefield by a score of  9-4  on Tuesday.
 The team  relied heavily on  Jeremy Hayden, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.  Ian Fournier was another key contributor,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 21  runs the game before, Osbourn was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Tuesday. They fell victim to a  rough 18-2 defeat at the hands of Patriot.
 Osbourn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brayden Weeks, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2. Weeks is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games he's  played.
 Gainesville is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record  this season. As for Osbourn, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last seven contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record  this season.
