Softball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Anderson's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Pendleton Heights Arabians on Monday. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 10-4 to the Arabians when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Anderson and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Pendleton Heights, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Anderson will welcome Alexandria-Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 13.8 runs per game this season. As for Pendleton Heights, they will head out on the road to face off against Delta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Arabians are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
