Soccer Game Preview: V.R. Eaton vs. Trinity

The V.R. Eaton Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Trinity Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Monday just wasn't the day for V.R. Eaton's offense. They came up short against Southlake Carroll on Monday, falling 5-0. V.R. Eaton have struggled against Southlake Carroll recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Trinity has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 3. They fell just short of Keller by a score of 1-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Trinity can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Keller are ranked 28th).

V.R. Eaton now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1.
