Recap: Chico Panthers vs. Shasta Wolves
The Chico Panthers won the last time they faced the Shasta Wolves, and things went their way on Friday too. Chico strolled past Shasta with points to spare, taking the game 55-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Chico.
Chico's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adam Brott led the charge by scoring 15 points along with two steals. Magnus Nielsen was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Chico's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Shasta, they now have a losing record at 11-12.
Chico will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Enterprise at 7:30 p.m. Enterprise and Chico are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Shasta, they will head out on the road to square off against Red Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Bluff is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
