Jefferson can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Le Mars Bulldogs with a sharp 8-2 victory. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in May, they had to take a 8-6 loss.

Jefferson gave Aiden Moore the start and clearly made the right call: he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Kendall Bell and Nate Anderson did most of the damage at the plate: Bell went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Anderson went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most RBI Bell has posted over his last eight matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Daulton Garrison, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Jefferson picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-21. As for Le Mars, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jefferson beat Le Mars by a score of 6-5 later that day.
