Soccer Recap: Shadow Mountain Takes a Loss

Shadow Mountain fought the good fight in their overtime game against North Canyon on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Canyon Rattlers. The Matadors have struggled against the Rattlers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Shadow Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for North Canyon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6-1 record this season.

Shadow Mountain didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 loss against Moon Valley on the 27th. As for North Canyon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Washington on the 27th.
