Basketball Recap: Ulysses Comes Up Short

Ulysses lost against Hugoton back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ulysses Tigers fell 54-43 to the Hugoton Eagles. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Ulysses' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Hugoton, the win also got them back to even at 3-3.

Ulysses will square off against Goodland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hugoton, they will host Colby at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Colby knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Hugoton likes a good challenge.
