Basketball Recap: Hiawatha Takes a Loss

Hiawatha lost against Ashton-Franklin Center back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hiawatha Hawks lost 47-22 to the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders.

Hiawatha dropped their record down to 2-25 with the defeat, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ashton-Franklin Center, their victory bumped their record up to 9-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hiawatha will challenge Newark at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hiawatha is facing Newark at the right time seeing as Newark is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Ashton-Franklin Center, they will square off against Fulton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
