Basketball Recap: Charlotte Comes Up Short

Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-19 loss at the hands of the Portland Raiders. The Orioles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.

Avery Silvas was Charlotte's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Silvas also led the team in assists with three.

Charlotte's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Portland, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Looking ahead, Charlotte will be playing in front of their home fans against Eaton Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Portland, they will challenge Grand Ledge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Portland is facing Grand Ledge at the right time seeing as Grand Ledge is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
