Baseball Recap: Big Spring Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Big Spring's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northern York Polar Bears on Thursday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Big Spring's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Northern York, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Spring will square off against Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Northern York, they are taking a road trip to challenge Carlisle at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
