Baseball Recap: Westbrook Wildcats vs. O'Donnell Eagles
Westbrook took an 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against O'Donnell, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Eagles 4-3 on Tuesday.

Landon Rodriguez made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.
Rodriguez wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Shawn Salazar, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most hits Salazar has posted since back in April of 2025.
