 Albemarle is 0-3 against North Rowan since October of 2017 but things could change  on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out to  square off against the Cavaliers  at 7:00  p.m. North Rowan took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Albemarle, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, Albemarle beat Union Academy 31-24. The  victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won five in a row.

 Albemarle will have to contain  Jo Jo Tarver as he made an impact in North Rowan's last game. He rushed for 44 yards and one  score, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and one  touchdown. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget  A'Son Best, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
 The  win  got Albemarle back to even at 4-4. As for North Rowan, their  defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-4.
 Albemarle couldn't quite finish off North Rowan in their previous matchup  back in October of 2019 and fell  36-33. Thankfully for the Bulldogs,  Malcolm Wilson Jr (who rushed for 144 yards and a pair of  TDs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
