Basketball Game Preview: Thrasher Rebels vs. Ingomar Falcons

The Thrasher Rebels will challenge the Ingomar Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Thrasher easily dispatched Hamilton last Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Rebels fell just short of Belmont by a score of 63-60 on Saturday.

Despite their loss, Thrasher saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Olivia Tunstall, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The contest was Tunstall's third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Brookelyn Roberts, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards.

Meanwhile, Ingomar put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past New Site 57-24. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 31 points or more this season.

Thrasher's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ingomar, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
