Basketball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington lost against Marietta back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lexington Bulldogs took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marietta Indians. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Marietta, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lexington will face off against Harding Fine Arts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marietta, they will challenge Lone Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lone Grove will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Marietta surely won't give up without a fight.
