Volleyball Recap: Turner Triumphs

The Turner Golden Bears beat Kauffman 3-1 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Bears.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21, 23-25, 25-13.

Shyann Herring had an outrageously good game as she had 21 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last nine contests.

Turner was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 32 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in five consecutive matches.

Turner's win bumped their record up to 13-20. As for Kauffman, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Coming up, Turner will face off against Sumner Academy on Thursday. Kauffman has already played their next matchup (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
