Okeechobee came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lake Placid Dragons. That's more bragging rights for the Brahmans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Okeechobee won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-22, 25-17.

Okeechobee's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Lake Placid, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.
