Volleyball Recap: James Clemens Comes Up Short

James Clemens and Austin squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but James Clemens had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Black Bears. The Jets have struggled against the Black Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-18, 25-10.

James Clemens' loss dropped their record down to 22-24. As for Austin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 23 of their last 26 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 41-7 record this season.

James Clemens does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Austin, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Bob Jones on the 16th.
