Softball Recap: St. Paul's Episcopal Gets the Win

St. Paul's Episcopal proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Sweet Water Bulldogs 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Saints have posted since April 30, 2024.

St. Paul's Episcopal has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. Sweet Water's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

St. Paul's Episcopal has already played their next match (against Mobile Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sweet Water, they will be taking part in a tournament against Jackson at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Jackson will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Sweet Water surely won't give up without a fight.
