Basketball Recap: Arcola Takes a Loss

If Arcola was riding high fresh off their 61-28 takedown of Red Hill last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Arcola Purple Riders came up short against the Dieterich Movin Maroons on Saturday, falling 45-24. The Purple Riders have struggled against the Movin Maroons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Arcola's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Dieterich, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Arcola will face off against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dieterich, they will square off against Edwardsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
