While Canyon's victory against Dumas wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Demons 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Canyon's record now sits at 20-6-1. As for Dumas, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Canyon will head out to take on Borger at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dumas, they will venture away from home to face off against West Plains at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Demons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
