Recap: Rampart Rams vs. Pueblo South Colts
The Rampart Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pueblo South 72-16 on the road. With that victory, Rampart brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Emily Huxtable continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with five assists and four steals. The match was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Arabelle Madril, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Rampart is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Pueblo South, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rampart will take on Arapahoe at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arapahoe is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Pueblo South, they will play host again and welcome Pueblo East, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
