Conlan Luck turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with two or fewer walks. For the season, he has an ERA of 1.20 over 12.2 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Luck and Akron will look to defend their home field on Monday against Newfane at 4:45 p.m. The Tigers are 8-2 against the Panthers going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
