Slinger hadn't done well against Whitefish Bay recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Slinger Owls simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes 71-44. The Owls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 22 points or more this season.

Slinger pushed their record up to 19-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.8 points over those games. As for Whitefish Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Coming up, Slinger will welcome Nicolet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nicolet knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 contests -- so hopefully Slinger likes a good challenge. As for Whitefish Bay, they are taking a road trip to square off against Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Homestead will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Whitefish Bay surely won't give up without a fight.
