Westford Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Acton-Boxborough proved too difficult a challenge. They won by a set and slipped past the Grey Ghosts 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Revolution have posted since November 6, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Acton-Boxborough who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 22-25, 25-19, 24-26, 18-16.

Their offense was headlined by Mia Moorman and Sarah Andrews, who picked up 14 kills apiece. They got some help from Carolyn Wang and her 35 assists.

Acton-Boxborough has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. Having lost for the first time this season, Westford Academy fell to 8-1.
