Basketball Game Preview: South East Jaguars vs. Jordan Bulldogs

South East has gone 8-2 against Jordan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the South East Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Jordan Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m.

South East is headed into Thursday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Gate on Wednesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Jaguars came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 566th, while the Rams are ranked 1200th).

Meanwhile, Jordan was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Port of Los Angeles 83-20. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 28 points or more this season.

Jordan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 51 points. As for South East, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

Everything came up roses for South East against Jordan in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, as the squad secured a 58-16 victory. Does South East have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jordan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
