It was a good run, but Boswell unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walnut Grove Wildcats.

While Boswell ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

Emily Brister paced Boswell's offense, picking up six kills. Brister got some help from Emma Stuhr and her six assists. Alessandra Cenotto controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Boswell's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Walnut Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Boswell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Northwest on the 21st. Walnut Grove has also already played their next contest (against Vandegrift), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
