Basketball Game Preview: Warren Woods-Tower Titans vs. New Standard Academy Spartans

The Warren Woods-Tower Titans and the New Standard Academy Spartans will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Warren Woods-Tower is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 61 points on Friday, they were much more limited against Chippewa Valley on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Big Reds 63-21. The match marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for New Standard Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 56-40 win over International Academy on Tuesday. While the Spartans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

New Standard Academy's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-1. As for Warren Woods-Tower, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
