Softball Recap: Frontier Cougars vs. Valley Lumberjacks

Frontier let Valley stack seven runs on them in the seventh inning on Thursday but luckily Frontier prevailed anyway. The Cougars narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lumberjacks 12-11. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Lumberjacks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Mikayla Bennett made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.
